2 Corinthians 5:18-19

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

A Latreia Church

Latreia is a Greek word meaning "ministry through service". At Breath of Life, we understand that worship includes obedience to the call of ministry, and ministry involves SERVICE. Jesus said, "he that is greatest among you shall be your servant" (Matthew 23:11). Therefore, we pride ourselves in serving God's people, all for the glory of God!

Our vision includes many ministry departments, designed to minister to the whole man - spirit, soul and body.

Breath of Life is very proud to share our extensive involvement in the local community. We are an evangelism and outreach focused church that reaches out to make an impact in the surrounding area. By the power of the Holy Ghost, we are empowered to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). We understand that a balanced and productive ministry requires both active IN-reach and OUT-reach activities. Therefore, we are careful to carry the power of God beyond the "four walls" of our physical church building.

Our church is currently partnered with the Raleigh Rescue Mission. We are an active Sponsor, participating in the annual Festival of Hope since 2009. We also provide food and supplies as needed, host an annual Coat and Blanket drive, and support any other activities that can benefit the life-changing efforts of the Raleigh Rescue Mission.



A Family Church

A Family Church

Family is one of the most important gifts God has given us. Therefore, we make every attempt to strengthen the structure of the Christian family. This includes taking those in who may not have the benefit of a strong, stable family structure. Regardless of your past or current situation, you are welcome to become part of the Breath of Life family. Most importantly, God desires that we become and remain part of His family, the Body of Christ (Romans 8:14-16).

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains (Psalm 68:6)
